Can you tell us about your skin journey?
I first discovered I had Psoriasis when I was 18 years old. I literally woke up one morning with a large itchy patch all over my stomach and didn’t know or understand where it had come from, I didn’t have a clue. For the first couple of months, I was unsure what it was, and it was only when I managed to get a dermatology referral that I was able to identify that it was Psoriasis and put in place a skin management plan.
Has having Psoriasis affected your confidence?
I've definitely had moments over the past 10 years where I have felt a little self-conscious. There have been occasions where someone once asked me was my Psoriasis a bad tattoo on my arm and I have had, and still have to this day, some children looking at my arm curiously, as they have probably never seen Psoriasis before. But my mindset is and will always be, that this is me, this is my skin and why should it affect my confidence just because my skin might not look like everyone else’s?
What are your thoughts on the Skin Repair Bath Salts?
The first time I personally used the Skin Repair Bath Salts was a revolutionary moment. I don't often take pictures of my skin, but I did just before I got in the bath and then 24 hours afterwards, and the difference was incredible. I have a lot of coverage on my back, it is flaky and very dry, and after bathing in the Skin Repair Bath Salts the difference was night and day. It was amazing.

Advice for anyone out there living with a skin condition like Psoriasis?
My advice to anyone who's got a skin condition is, don't be ashamed of it. Don't feel the need to cover it up. Why should you? You're afforded the same rights as anyone else. Whether that’s taking your top off by a pool or wearing a pair of shorts, there's no issue with that. Some people will stare at it. Most people have probably never seen it before. Have a chat with them, educate them, and share your story with them.
