Nic was born in Perth, Australia and began swimming at an early age. State ranked in primary school, he remained competitive in high school and picked up field hockey until he graduated in 2003. He remained active, particularly in the outdoors until he moved to London in 2013. In 2014, Nic took up running 'seriously' and through some unforeseen events, had committed to running ultra marathons before even undertaking a half marathon! He competed competitively in 2016 and placed well in all events he entered! Now, in 2017, Nic is looking to the 100 mile distance and Western States 100, under the watchful eye of his coach Alicia Vargo (Hoka One One Elite). He is also a pacer for Nike London and is active in the Nike and running communities in London! Nic is always on the hunt for the next adventure!
