We've pledged to have our packaging 100% recyclable by 2020, but in the meantime, please see our tried and tested ways of re-using your Westlab pouches.
Simply rinse out your bag once empty with some gentle washing-up liquid and leave to dry. You can then re-use and re-seal. The pouches are a great flat shape for filing together in shoeboxes or drawers if you want to store multiple items such as arts and crafts of office supplies. They are also a great alternative to storing items in zip-seal bags as they are much tougher and more hardwearing. The underside of the bags are see-through so you can see what's inside, or you can just pop a label onto the bags.
Westlab HQ tried and tested
1. Transporting leakable or breakable items when travelling. If you have precious face oils or shampoos prone to leaking just pop them inside your pouch, seal up and place in your suitcase.
2. Storing small arts and crafts materials such as sequins and pom poms. Kids craft boxes can get messy and boxes take up a lot of room. Just get a shoe-box, and store it with a collection of Westlab pouches, each one filled with crafty items such as pom-poms, sequins, buttons, stickers etc etc.
3. Store office and household items such as rubberbands, paperclips, staples or receipts and you'll find they take up a lot less space than storing in jars or boxes.
Please share your tried and tested ideas with us, so we can add them to this page. Photos welcome!
